Eromycin Suspension is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the eye, ear, nose, throat, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. Also given as an alternative therapy to penicillin allergy, Eromycin Suspension may help treat certain specific infections such as pertussis (whooping cough) and diphtheria. The usual duration of the treatment is 5 to 10 days, depending upon infection severity and how well your child responds to the treatment. Ensure that your child completes the full prescribed course of the medicine as stopping it abruptly may worsen your child’s condition or increase the risk of reinfection. In case your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, help your child calm down and then give the same dose again.
