This is tetracycline hydrochloride preparation, an antibiotic. It is non-irritant to the eyes, suitable for patients allergic to penicillin. It is used to treat conjuctivitis, blepharitis, trachoma and other eye infections.

Water, glycerin, hydroxethylcellulose, chlor-Hexidine gluconate, glucono delta lactone, methylparaben, sodium hydroxide, dipropylene glycol, dimethyl sulfoxide, sorbic acid, ascorbic acid, magnesium stearate, stearic acid.

Squeeze a thin strip of ointment into the pouch. A 1-cm (approximately 1/3-inch) strip of ointment is usually enough unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Gently close the eyes and keep them closed for 1 or 2 minutes to allow the medicine to come into contact with the infection.
